Simple and easy handling, because the functions “safety cutter” and “universal cutter” can be controlled by 2 different sliding buttons. This makes extremely fast and easy switching between functions possible
1. Use as safety cutter with automatic blade retraction for accident-free working
Move the silver slider at the back of the cutter forward with the thumb and the blade moves steplessly out of the case. When you release the slider, the blade retracts automatically by a pull-spring. Additional rubberized safety stop in the front.
2. Use as universal cutter with 2 positions of blade feed
Push the black lateral button to move the blade forward in 2 steps (10 mm/20 mm). The blade locks.
3. Quick cutting function
on the lower side of the cutter for cutting of strings, cord, yarns etc.
Blade change:
Position the totally moved out blade as described under item 2. Push the lateral little red button, extract the old blade and insert the new blade.
Solid silver metal case, rubberized ergonomic handle suitable for right and left hand use, hanging hole. Trapezoidal blade can be used on both sides, incl. 2 additional trapezoidal replacement blades made of black carbon steel with a hardness of +/- 64 HRC (Rockwell) in the blade storage, hanging hole.
For cuttings on paper, cardboard, fabrics, leather, vinyl, PVC and other similar materials.
This cutter is suited for hook blades as well.
